Azur Hotel Volos

The friendliness of the staff, especially Giannis and Andromachi, made us feel at home. The cleanness of the rooms; surprisingly, the cleaner lady seemed very willing as well as all the staff were very pleasant and polite. Finally, the location was perfect, just a few minutes from the commercial centre, restaurants, and bars. Also, Azur is in close proximity to the port, which gives you the opportunity to travel to one of the nearby islands. We had a rented car which we could park at a nearby covered parking lot at a very reasonable fee. Driving to the Pelion villages was ideal as we could return back to hotel after a day trip and chill out at the nearby bars or traditional tsipouradika.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. Everything worked well. The decor was well coordinated. Soaps, towels, were well stocked each day. Hotel is on the port and the main shopping areas are 2 blocks away. You will have a good walk to the beach or drive for a few minutes. Staff was very helpful and offered good suggestions for meals.

This is a new hotel, keen to make a good impression. The bedroom was very modern and sleek and the bed enormous!. The bed was very comfortable and a towelling robe & slippers were provided. The bathroom had plenty of quality toiletries and the fridge had 2 complementary small bottles of delicious wine. TV was large & had access to many channels.The balcony was small but there was a sea view, despite being in a side street to the main promenade.The hotel have an arrangement with a multi- storey car park nearby, so we took this option as parking centrally is very challenging. The charges were discounted as a result. Reception staff were charming and helpful. Great value gor money too.

The experience was excellent. The hotel is perfectly situated, offering a wonderful view of the port and easy access to various local attractions. The room I stayed in was impeccably clean. Everything was new and modern, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The comfort and attention to detail were remarkable, with a very comfortable bed and high-quality linens. The bathroom was equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. I found shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, all of superior quality. These small details made a big difference and added extra comfort to our stay. The hotel staff was extremely kind and professional, always willing to help and provide useful information about the city. The housekeeping service was impeccable, ensuring that everything was perfect every day.

Staff was outstanding. Room amenities were excellent - very luxurious. We booked a family unit, not sure about the size. We could have gone with the smaller unit which would be good for 2 people. Shower/ bath facilities outstanding. Staff all spoke English well. Location was outstanding easy acccess to harbor walkway.
